A day later, I was able to get up and visit Dante.
All you could hear is...
Beep... Beep... Beep... Beep... as the monitor kept record of Dante's heartbeat,
the sound of the ventilator as it was breathing for him.
I talked to him about anything and everything. Everyone made sure that I ate and got some rest.

(Dante) I could hear voices but I couldn't understand what they were saying. I tried to telling them that I was there but they seem not to notice me. I listen closely to see if I could find the one person that I needed. I tried to get their attention. Didn't they know I was here? I tried to stay awake but I just couldn't...
The next time I woke up, I heard a quiet voice telling me to fight it. But what was I to fight for? Who was this person? Why did she sound so familiar to me? She must be very important to me to stay and talk to me! The pain and the drugs put me back to sleep, I didn't want to leave her, I fought has hard as I could to stay wake but it was a losing battle.....
