The Baby Showers for the women of PC

Today is the baby shower for the women of Port Charles:
Sam is 7 1/2 months
Siohban is 5 1/2 months
Abby is 4 months
Maxie is 3 1/2 months, also
Maya is 5 months and
I, Lulu am 7 months
The guests includes: Alexis, Kristina, Molly, Olivia, Kate, Tracy, my mom, Laura, Kelly, Liz, Epiphany, and Robin.
Sam, Siobhan, Maxie and Maya are expecting a girl
Abby doesn't want to know until the delivery (Michael wants its to be a girl)
And I am expecting twins
Sam and I are being closely watched by the doctors and our husbands.
We had to get Sonny and Michael to distract them so we could go to the baby shower.
We are in a private room at the Metro Court.
The room is decorated in neutral colors and each of us has their own specialize designed cake
My was a french vanilla with mint oreo ice cream layered cake, white frosting with pastel green, yellow, blue wording saying 'Congratulations' to Dante and Lesley Lu

I come in to the room and see the other women. Lulu, expecting twins, definitely looks the biggest. She and Dante are going to be busy! I was really getting excited for this birth of this new baby.
"Thank you so much, this is a great idea!" I said to Lulu "So twins? Any ideas if it will be boys or girls or one of each?" I asked

That we don't know yet, we are waiting until they are born, I told Sam.
Sam, Is Jason excited about have a girl? Are you ready for her to come? How is the pregnancy? Having any problems?, I asked.

"Jason is every bit as excited as I am, he's wanted to be a father for so long" I said "And he'll be a great dad. He raised Michael, of course, with Robin all those years ago. I've been pretty good. I am so ready for her to come here, I've been ready since I learned about the procedure" I said "How about you? How's it been for you, and how is Dante coping? Is he excited?"

I had morning sickness for the first month. After that was done, it has been good. When they hear Dante's voice they calm down.
Dante is over the moon with pride.
He constantly talks to his family in Bensonhurst. Everytime we are out, he thinks he has to buy something for them. We are hoping for a boy and a girl.
Hes afraid he be at work when they decide to come or they come early. But the doctors say everything is on schedule for the twins
I just hope they don't come during the shower.

"That's like when Emma decided to make her arrival on my wedding" said Robin who had arrived "Just as the priest was talking about procreation-- here it comes!"
"Twins are always early so you never know" I said

I know but I'm so excited to be having a baby shower with my friends and family that I don't want to miss having some cake.
I started to get up to get a piece of cake when my arm went right to my stomach and I screamed... having a contraction
I think the babies are coming? another contraction hits
I heard someone yelling for help?

Robin, Alexis and Maxie ran straight to Lulu. So did Laura
"Breathe, Lulu, it'll be OK" Robin was saying
"You'll be fine, sweetheart" said Laura
I ran out to get help and ran into Kelly
"I think Lulu is in labour!" I said
"What?! I'm on my way!" she ran over to check on her, Michael followed
"When did the contractions start?" she asked. Michael called Dante
"Lulu might be having her baby, you need to get over here NOW!" he said "And get Lucky, too!"
He ran over "I called Dante, he's on his way. So is Lucky!"

[amblue]

I was screaming, I'm going to kill Dante for doing this to me!(contraction)
(breathing) hee hee whoo whoo God, it hurts!
(breathing) hee hee whoo whoo Kelly, Robin, you got to do something? It too soon! Its too soon (contraction)
Where's Dante, I need Dante!
All the while Robin telling me to breath and not to push.
The ambulance is on it's way and Dante coming, too.
Can someone get Lulu a blanket, yelled Robin
Can someone go and get my doctors bag from my car yelled Kelly
It looks like she might be having the babies here

Dante and Lucky ran in full speed ahead. I was helping get everything ready. Jason saw Dante and Lucky running and also came in
"I'm here, Lulu" said Dante "Is it the baby?"
"They're coming" said Kelly
"WHAT?! Are you sure?" he asked
I watched, concerned, praying that they'd be OK. I couldn't help but think of my own child who I had lost.
"I really hope Lulu's babies are OK" I told Alexis "No one deserves to lose their baby"
"I know" said Alexis

I'm trying to do what Robin and Kelly are telling me to do, when I hear Dante's voice telling me that he's here.
After another contraction had stopped,
I yelled, "Its about time you showed up, Dante, you're the one who did this to me.
Dante, they can't come right now, its too early for them
I'm sorry Lulu, but I don't think they're listening to you, the babies are coming now, Dante looking at Kelly nodding her head.

Ok, Lulu its time to push" replied Kelly, Dante get behind Lulu, so shes sitting up little bit. He got behind me
I don't want to push, Kellly, make it stop!
Sorry Lulu but its too late, they are coming even if you don't want them to.
(A contraction hits) Come on Lulu, I'm right here to help you, so push Lulu push! said Dante
You did good, Lulu, rest and breath while you wait for the next contraction to come, replied Kelly

A minute later another contraction hits.

Two hours has past.

Kelly, Is there something wrong with the babies, I asked, it has been over 2 hours and still no baby!
Ok, Lulu, when another contraction comes I want you to breath through it and don't push, replied Kelly.
She stood up and motion Robin to come with her

I made sure that things were calm and waited for the ambulance. I sat down for a bit.
"I hope they'll be OK" I said "I feel like I jinxed them"
"I'm sure Dr Lee and Robin will do everything they can" said Alexis "They'll be monitored"

KELLY, Another contraction is coming!
LULU, just keep breathing throught it and don't push

Minutes later, another contraction hits
Kelly, here comes another one
Robin comes back over and tells Dante that Kelly wants to talk to him
I'll be right back Lulu, replied Dante
So, Lulu, have you and Dante picked out the names yet?
We are thinking about naming the boy, Michael Lucas Angelo Falconeri and the girl Laura Olivia Angel Falconeri, I said

I watch anxiously as Lulu prepares to give birth, she seems OK, despite the usual stress. She was tough, no question. Dante looked nervous but excited, and I wondered how Sonny would react to being a grandfather now, and how Olivia would react.

Another contraction comes, Kelly and Dante rushes back over.
Lulu, You and Dante need to decide if you want to wait for the ambulance or go ahead and give birth? I'll give you and Dante some time to decide but there really isn't much time, Kelly said

After a few minutes she can back with Robin
Ok, what have you decided?
Dante says, What do you need to do?, Kelly
I need you to go behind Lulu so she can lean on your chest
Lulu, the next contraction, I want you to push
Robin, we need hot water, blankets, scissors and anything else that we can use,
and someone needs to direct the paramedics in here when they arrive

Ok Lulu here comes a contraction, push push
Ok Lulu now rest the next contraction should be coming in about 5 sec

Push, Lulu, Push said Dante

We all stood anxiously awaiting the arrival of the twins. Siobhan had a look of concern on her face. "what's wrong I asked? are you getting nervous about giving birth?" Lulu was in so much pain but seemed to be doing well. Sam was standing next to Jason wringing her hands. She was anxious, nervous and truly concerned for Lulu. Sam and Lulu had become friends despite their husbands being on opposite sides of the law. I represent both of them and believe me they keep me busy. Just as another contraction hits Lulu, a man with a gun enters the room looking for someone

Not again! I really didn't need something else to go wrong!

Everyone shut up and listen, said the man
Can't you see I'm having contractions and about to deliver, I told the man
I don't care, replied the man, I'm looking for...
Just then I hear Kelly said push Lulu push
Dante cheering me on
Okay one more push and you will have a
So I push and I heard a cry

Kelly, Is it a boy or a girl? I asked

"Back off. Leave right NOW!" I told the man, who immediately froze, not expecting me to yell
"A girl" Kelly told Lulu "And here comes the other one!"

I heard Kelly saying that it was a girl and for me to push again because the other baby was coming
So I pushed and heard another cry
Lulu, you do good, replied Dante,
I saw the look on Kelly's face.
Kelly, what's wrong? Is it the babies?
Lulu, replied Kelly, you have to laid still
What's wrong? Kelly? Dante? Whats going on?
then I knew nothing

"What's going on? Is it something wrong with the baby?" I asked
"It looks like one of the twins is breeched" said Kelly "We have to find a way to get her out"

Wh.. what happen? Kelly... Sam.. Dante, I slowly asked

[amblue]

(Dante) I saw that Lulu was coming around and I motion to Kelly that Lulu was coming to. I went over to Lulu and told her that she had to remain still because the baby was breeched. And that Kelly wants her to keep breathing through the contractions until Kelly could decide what to do next.
While we were waiting, the women came over to see how things were going?

Welcome back, Lulu, replied Dante.
You just had to grab all the attention? didn't you Lulu, replied Maxie.
Hi, Lulu replied everyone else.
Ok, you guys everyone except for Dante, replied Kelly, I need for you to back away from her.
Ok, Lulu, I'm going to try to turn the baby, so don't push. You need to breath through the contraction, replied Kelly.

"That's Maxie for 'You scared me'" I said, then went into the waiting room

OK Lulu, push.... push... push..... proclaim Kelly, I see the head! Come on, Lulu, one more push, thats it. (baby crying) Its a.....
