Saturday Afternoon walk

4:30pm- After a nice late relaxing lunch, Steve, Olivia, Dante and I were heading to the pier to watch the sunset

Dante and I were talking to them about what they were going to do for Valentine's Day?
Steve said, "Well I really haven't asked your mom out for Valentine's Day, yet. We been busy, with your mom just getting out of the hospital and I working. I haven't found the right moment to ask.
"Well" Dante said, you better ask her soon because Valentine's Day is in 13 days!
Dante, don't pressure him into asking me, replied Olivia, and its not any of your business.
No, its alright, Olivia, replied Steve. But she quickly changed the subject back to Dante
"So, Dante, asked Olivia, What are YOU going to do for Lulu on Valentine's Day? You own her a Valentine's Day date. Remember you were in the hospital on Valentine Day last year!
Yeah Dante, What are you planning for me for Valentine's Day, I replied
"Well, Lesley Lu Spencer, you will just have to wait and see!"


Suddenly, we heard a pop!

Dante and Steve shield us. A couple minutes later, Steve and Dante asked us if we were okay and we said that we were. Dante helped me up and thats when I saw blood on his shoulder.
Dante, I said, you have blood on your left shoulder!
O, I didn't feel that. Steve went over and checked Dante's shoulder. Its only a through and through, it needs cleaning and stitches and maybe 1 or 2 days off from work.

Just then, Jason and Sam came running to us

Hearing the gunshots, I came running over to Dante and Lulu while Jason looked for the shooters
"Are you two OK?" I asked
"Yeah. Just a scrape" said Dante. I looked at the injury
"I'll get him to the hospital to get looked after, he's fine" said Steve
"Are you OK, Lulu?" I asked "Did you see the shooter?"

I'm a little shaken but good. Not that I can remember right now.
I remember we were talking about Valentine's Day
I heard a pop sound, Dante grabbed me, threw me down on the ground and covered me.
We waited for a few minutes before we stood up.
I saw blood on Dante and then you guys came.

Steve helped Dante into the ambulance. Jason then came back
"No sign of the shooter. Are they OK?" he asked
"Dante's just been taken to get checked out, but will be fine. Lulu's not hurt" I told him

[Something_Special]

I walked into Theo Hoffman's office expecting to find it empty as I had some briefs to finish for court on Monday. I walked in to put a file on his desk and saw him sitting with his back to the door in his chair. He didn't hear me come in. I turned to leave when I heard him say "What do you mean you missed? I hired a professional and you tell me you missed? This will not be tolerated. Either you finish Detective Falconeri off or you will find yourself very unhappy." I was stunned, did I hear him right? I crept out of his office before he knew I was there. I then grabbed my purse and left, heading straight for Jason's penthouse. It's Saturday afternoon and I'm hoping he's home. I grab my cell "Jason I need to see you NOW" I said urgently.

I'm sitting by the procedure, thinking about the turn of events. I had the procedure. It was a fact, I now had a 50% chance of having a baby, better than it was before. It was hard to believe but it was true. I saw Lulu going up to me, she looked like she needed to talk.
"Hi, Lulu" I said, moving over a bit so she could sit down

I saw Sam sitting down. She must of realized that I needed to talk to her because she moved over a little.
Have a sit, Lulu, replied Sam, is there something you need to ask me?
"Yes," Um, I remember something about the shooting.

I nod for her to go on. "Shooting?

[amblue]

Yea, I remember something about tonight and something else that has happen. I kept getting phone calls and when I answer they hang up. I know I should have told Dante about the phone calls but i didn't want him to worry more than he is now.
I also feel like there is someone following me but everytime I turn around noone there. Well tonight, I felt the same thing so I pretended to check my makeup when I saw a white male, approxiately 6 ft, muscular following us has we walked. Before I could tell Dante, we heard a pop and then with Dante getting hurt

"Phone calls? Like someone is stalking you?" I asked "Has this been going on for long?"

[amblue]

Yea, the phone calls started before Theo came. I hear breathing and they hang up and it only happens when Dante wasn't around.
The feeling of someone following me, started after Theo told me about Dante and Brenda!

"What did he say about them?"

[amblue]

That Dante helped Brenda cover up a murder three years ago and they are co-named in a wrongful death lawsuit. He also want to know personal things about Dante and if I was willing to testify for Dante.
It sounded like he applying that he would make Brenda and Dante pay for the death of their son but ... It was like he was working for the family and not for Dante and Brenda.
Which to me sounded weird to me
O and he said that Dante needed me to believe Dante. If that makes any sense

I sighed "I knew something was going on, but I didn't know what" I said "I know the feelig of thinking you know someone, just to find out they have a huge secret. It took me a long time to trust Jason after I found out he lied about Jake"

I know I need to forgive Dante but its hard. Our relationship was based on trust and he didn't trust me enough to tell me and I'm having a hard time with it.
I wish Brenda never came back to Port Charles but in a way I'm glad that she did.
Even though I'm mad at him, I probably should tell him about the phone calls and the following?
Thanks Sam for your advice and I'll think about what you said.

"Secrets between couples is always hard to accept" I said "And Dante should have told you that, and he knows it's hard for you to trust. I do think, though, that you should tell him about this. He probably didn't tell you because he didn't want to hurt you-- but wound up hurting you by keeping the secret" I replied "I hope you can work it out, but that's something only you know. I'm glad I was able to help"

After I left Sam, I realized that I need to tell Dante about the phone calls and the stalking. Just because Dante didn't tell me the truth didn't mean that I had to, too.

I walked to down to the corner and was walking across the street, when I heard a noise. I look to see what it was and I saw lights. I heard, Lulu "watch out" but it was too late. I felt the impact and then nothing

I saw Lulu got hit and ran over
Jason went to see the culprit, I ran to Lulu
"Lulu! Lulu, wake up!"
I called 911
"someone's been hit, 22 year old female, caucasian. Hurry!"

[amblue]

moaning What hap...
Dante.....

"Shhh, Lulu. It's Robin. You were hit by a car. Sam called 911. Dante is on his way" said Robin.
Just then Dante came running in
"Lulu! What happened? Sam said you were hit by a car!"

[amblue]

I saw people talking but I couldn't talk. I tried to talk but no sound would come out. I tried to let them know but I must be tied down or something because I couldn't move my head or arms.
I was mouthing words and trying to response but I just couldn't. I started to get agitated.

[amblue]

(Dante) I saw Robin and Sam standing by a body on the ground. As I got closer, I realized that it was Lulu on the ground. I ran up and knelt down by her. I keep talking to her while Sam was on the phone with 911 and Robin looking over Lulu and telling her not to move.
Lulu Lulu, its coming to be okay, ambulance is on its way, just hang in there, don't you dare die on me. I still need to make up for all the lies I told and anything else you want me to make up for. Just don't you leave me, Lulu...

[amblue]

(Dante) All the way to the hospital, I kept tellng Lulu to hang on.
We finally arrive after what seems like hours and they immediately rushed her into the cubicle. The wait was unbearable. My mom, Lucky, Sam and everyone else started to come into the hospital. They started to pace and asked me if there was any news about Lulu but I was so out of it I couldn't answer them. All I could think about was not being able to tell Lulu how sorry I was and that I would do anything to get her to trust me again but she had to live.

Waiting for new on Lulu was unbearable. Jason arrived shortly after and asked for news
"Still waiting" I said
